Most destination sessions are scheduled during trips families or couples were already planning. I accept a limited number of destination sessions each year so I can thoughtfully plan travel around them.

Do you travel for photography sessions?

Yes. Lemonade Photos offers destination photography sessions for families, couples, and senior portraits in meaningful locations. That could be state side or abroad, wherever your adventure awaits you!

Can destination sessions be outside the United States?

Yes. Destination sessions can take place both within the U.S. and internationally depending on travel availability.

Are destination sessions only for family photos?

No. Destination sessions are also popular for anniversary or couples portraits, senior sessions in dream locations, and family reunions.

How far in advance should we plan a destination session?

Destination sessions are typically planned several months in advance to align with travel schedules. I suggest reaching out as soon as you book your vacation as we book up with custom sessions here in studio up to 6 months in advance. The sooner the better when it comes to planning and booking!

What happens if the weather is bad for an outdoor session, how does that work?

Destination sessions come with a roughly 5-day block in my schedule, generally giving my assistant and I time to get into the location, scout if that is needed and plan accordingly. Generally, we leave 2 days available for shooting just in case of weather.

What is the Initial Investment for a Destination Session?

Destination sessions begin with a $7,500 creative commission, which includes a $5,000 image credit that is applied toward your final artwork and photographs.

Many clients use their credit toward heirloom albums, framed artwork, and curated image collections that preserve the memories of their trip long after it ends.

Most clients will spend on average with complete investment of upwards of $10,000.
